Busy Season

Hello everyone!  We've been busy, busy, busy here in Alaska.  Besides school taking a lot of my time (my full time career), Patrick and I have been winterizing the yard, harvesting our garden and greenhouse, and spending some spare moments crafting.  We have been working on the October 10 craft show designing a variety of holiday cards and gifts.  Here is a sneak peak:  This beautiful Christmas card is sure to spread some holiday cheer.  Featuring the Joyful Christmas stamp set, embossed poinsettia velum layered flower, on top of an embossed script, this card says WOW! Have you sent Santa your list?  You better be good and get to writing your wish list (check out my Stampin' Up! online store) so Santa can fill your stocking. We have been busy in our craft room.  These are just a few of the items we've been making.  I'll post more items soon.  Take care and happy crafting!!  Annette

"Haunt Ya Later" Halloween Card

No school today (smiles), so I was excited to work in my craft room finishing up some holiday coasters for an upcoming Holiday Bazaar, and then had some time to make a Halloween card.  I decided to pull out my brayer and create a spooky card with a fun new stamp set I received last week. I had A LOT of fun working with the brayer inking technique today.  The Halloween card turned out "cute and spooky" all at the same time.  Check it out and let me know what you think.    Thanks for stopping by.    To view the supplies needed for this card, check out the  Halloween Card Gallery . A Ghoulish Trick or Treat

What a fun time Patrick and I had today crafting.  We made several items, but the one I want to share with you is our first Halloween card for the season!  We had a lot of fun planning, designing, and constructing this card.   Using a banner theme, we placed candy corn banners across the top of this card.  I used clear winkestella to add a touch of sparkle to the candy corn banner and the pumpkin candy container carried by our friendly ghost.  We added a piece of silver foil to give this card a little more "bling" - a nice touch for those haunted evenings. Finally, when the card is opened, the ghoulish message appears:  "Trick or Treat" and a little spider hanging from some Halloween trim finishes off this cute card. Check out my " Halloween Card Gallery " for directions and a supply list (below) to make this card.  Order your materials 24/7 from my online store and take advantage of being a Frequent Buyer Rewards, Mystery Hostess, or Monthly Hos
